Valley View Residence
The garden of this wabi-sabi, mid-century home, located on a south-facing slope, is designed to claim the canyon views and celebrate the beauty of the surrounding Eucalyptus grove while carving out private and social spaces for this family of five. The plant palette and materials are designed to provide defensible fire space as well as complement the modernity of the house and the colors of the surrounding landscape.
